Bias to Betterment

The 45-minute online course teaches participants the significance of understanding biases—delving into why they matter and how they manifest in the workplace and service delivery. The course offers a framework to understand each team member's roles and responsibilities in interrupting bias and presents pragmatic advice on how to do so. Participants then explore their biases by participating in Havard University's Implicit Bias Tests, followed by reflexive questioning. The online course ends with a short survey that measures the team's level of psychological safety and trust as well as their experiences of bias in the workplace (the results are used in the live workshop).
